Philippine is an archipelago consists of 7,107 islands and islets stretching almost a thousand miles from north to south. The Philippines has extensive but small river systems which are mostly delineated by the mountain ranges. The Philippines is rich in natural resources that are as yet largely undeveloped. Philippines produced crops wherein a few of it are produced for export and some for local consumptions. Other products like Copra, abaca, gums, rubber an sugar are also found in the market abroad as well as lumbers, minerals and metals.

Most of the Filipinos are already blended with Spanish, Chinese, American, and eastern lineage. Wherein it affects Filipino culture and traditions. Through its fusion of native traditions its shows on how it affects civilization especially on religious festivals and even in naming of its streets, towns and provinces as well as its dishes.
Filipino commonly speaks English language aside from Filipino dialects as basis in communicating to other countries. Family ties, friendship, nationalism and commitment are being preserve by Filipino from generation to generations."Respect for the elders" is one trait that has remained in the book of unwritten laws. Usually Filipino parents almost exercise absolute power over children. As a sign of respect and good breeding they always bears the word "Po and Opo". The people are known for being hospitable and friendly. Its culture exhibits a strange union of religions beliefs and customs that still in practice in the modern ages.
